Created as part of the Moonlit Alchimia apothecary collection, Wax Ghosts is a pair of handcrafted wax melts inspired by old houses, lingering memories and the quiet, almost comforting side of the supernatural.

Each piece is cast in the shape of a small ghost — simple, strange and instantly recognisable — then finished by hand in small batches. Their appearance balances playful form with the darker visual language of Moonlit Alchimia, making them feel less like novelty wax melts and more like tiny spectral curiosities from an old cabinet.

Their fragrance adds an unexpected contrast.

Soft, creamy Banana Foam brings a nostalgic sweetness to the room, creating a scent that feels warm, comforting and slightly uncanny in the best possible way.

THE RITUAL

Place one ghost in the upper dish of your wax burner and light an unscented tealight beneath it.

As the wax slowly melts and the little apparition loses its shape, the fragrance begins to spread through the room.

Dim the lights. Put on music. Read, journal, tidy your space, or simply let the atmosphere shift around you.

There is no fixed ritual.

THE SYMBOLISM

Ghosts have long represented more than fear.

Within Moonlit Alchimia, the ghost is treated less as a horror figure and more as a quiet apparition — something fleeting, familiar and a little melancholic.

A small reminder that not everything that lingers has to be frightening.

The symbolism is part of the artistic storytelling of the collection and is not intended to imply supernatural effects.

THE WAX

Each ghost is handcrafted in small batches by Moonlit Alchimia in Italy.

Because every piece is individually poured and finished, slight variations in colour, texture and surface details may naturally occur.

These small differences are part of the handmade process and make each pair slightly unique.
